Visiting Delphi with Kids: The Complete Family Guide
Delphi is one of the most exciting places to bring children. The myths, the dramatic mountain setting, and the ancient ruins create a sense of adventure that captures young imaginations. We welcome families at Komody Apartments regularly.
Why Delphi is Great for Kids
The Temple of Apollo still stands, the theatre is intact enough to sit in, and the stadium has visible starting blocks. Eagles circle overhead, and views stretch from mountains to sea.
The Archaeological Site by Age
Ages 3 to 6
Use a baby carrier (not stroller-friendly). Focus on the lower sections. Skip the stadium climb.
Ages 7 to 12
The ideal age. Challenge them to find the Omphalos stone and race at the ancient stadium.

The Charioteer of Delphi and the Oracle’s political influence will fascinate older children.
